House of Cheri
House of Cheri started on a remote cattle station in North QLD. Battling a questionable internet connection and no previous experience in fashion, the label’s founder Cheri decided to give it a go against all odds. With plenty of encouragement from her husband Cheri set to work taking her own personal sense of style and creating pieces that highlight her love for the rural lifestyle, wide open spaces and the peacefulness that country life brings.
After a nasty fall from a horse in March of 2016, Cheri unfortunately had to put the brand on hold while she recovered her serious injuries. It's taken some time but Cheri is now back and since reopening in 2021, the brand is stronger than ever. While Cheri’s sons have often found themselves packing orders or rifling through pattern swatches, Cheri now has in place a wonderful team that support House of Cheri as they continue to share beautifully crafted clothing designed with rural men and women in mind.
If you ask Cheri which collection she is most proud of, she’ll tell you it's her latest. After lots of trial and error Cheri feels like she's finally learnt how to create the perfect line of shirts with the perfect high quality, soft and lightweight fabrics. Designed for wearability, comfort and style.
Alongside this beautiful brand, Cheri and her family also own and run the infamous Burke and Wills Roadhouse at Four Ways, the true definition of regionally based!
House of Cheri's clothes are made to become wardrobe favourites, to be worn year after year and to accentuate our bodies in the best possible way. A House of Cheri pieces is a fantastic addition to any wardrobe!
