Emily MacAlpine is an Interior Stylist and the Director of MARG Studio. After studying Architecture and having spent many years working for a renowned art consultancy, Emily moved into the realm of interior styling. Bringing her diverse experience to truly understand the ecosystem of your home. Obsessed with floorplans, the sounds of men at work on site and the individual charm that each building presents, Emily gets to know the landscape, the site and most importantly you. To create a home or business that isn’t focused on the latest trends but your unique desire for the space and its functionality.
MARG Studio is aptly named after Emily’s Grandmother, the queen of repurposing and making the most of what she had which has seen Emily carry this ethos through to the way she approaches her work. Whether it be the restoration of a grand old home or the detailing of a considered new build, Emily seeds a practical, resourceful and sustainable approach into all aspects of her work. Valuing design that isn’t disposable but rather creating timeless design to endure and adapt for generations to come.
