I live in Corryong, tiny town at the foothills of the Snowy mountains in Victoria with my farmer husband, two golden retrievers and cat. I grew up in cairns in FNQ with my two younger sisters and parents who still reside there. I’m actually a rural mixed practice veterinarian by day, which I love. Most of my friends know me as the chatterbox, I love socialising and catching up with friends, especially over a nice wine and cheese platter. Taken By Mitch is my side hustle I guess you could say. The business was born from years of loving photography but always being too scared to actually pursue it. Since its inception it’s grown into a photography and floristry business which is just the best of both worlds. I absolutely love having such a varied work profile between vetting, photos and flowers! I’m expecting our first baby in August this year, so life is going to look a little different to how I’ve known it going forward. Hopefully filled with all the good things with a little babe in tow!
