Vanessa has always adored texture, colour and light. It’s what attracted her to the simple lamp and how its warmth can transform a space. It inspired Vanessa to begin crafting bespoke shades from her dining room table in 2017. Armed with rolls of fabric and some basic tools of the trade, Vanessa’s lampshades quickly caught people’s attention. Along with her handcrafted lampshades, Vanessa also offers a selection of hand-turned timber lamp bases produced by Australian craftsmen.

Accompanied by her beloved corgis, Vanessa has continued to build her business and to craft unique pieces for those looking for that extra spark in an area of their home, all while juggling motherhood and a busy life on the land.
